Federal, state, county and local governments offices will be closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

In the city of San Diego, that includes administrative offices, libraries, recreation centers and municipal pools.

City facilities that will be open include the Miramar Landfill, Mission Trails Regional Park Visitors Center, municipal golf courses and Chollas Lake.

Curbside trash pickup will be delayed by one day.

For the county of San Diego, offices, libraries and animal shelters will be closed today and Friday. Teen and community centers in Fallbrook, Lakeside and Spring Valley will also be closed both days.

County-run campgrounds and day-use parks will be open.

Metropolitan Transit System buses and trolleys will operate on a Sunday schedule, which means no service will be provided on Rapid Express Routes 280 and 290, the Sorrento Valley Coaster Connection, or other express bus routes.

The MTS will run a normal schedule Friday, though Rapid Express Routes 280 and 290 will see decreased frequency.

The North County Transit District said its buses, Coaster train and Sprinter light-rail services will also run on a Sunday schedule today and a normal schedule Friday.

According to the NCTD, Amtrak won’t accept Coaster tickets through Sunday.
