San Diego-based Mind Solutions, which makes a brain-computer interface worn on the ear, announced Thursday that Amazon will sell its product.

The company said its NeuroSync interface, which is worn on the ear like a bluetooth cellular device, is the smallest on the market.

Last week the company began taking pre-orders from shareholders. The product is expected to retail for $129 when it hits the general market in eight to ten weeks.

NeuroSync will be compatible with over 100 thought-controlled software applications ranging from mind games to accessibility programs to brain efficiency applications for both desktop computers and smartphones.

Mind Solutions’ technology measures small voltage changes in the brain caused by the firing of neurons and translates these brainwaves into action via software.

The public company’s shares are traded over the counter.
