Callaway Golf has introduced two new clubs in its “Big Bertha” line, the Alpha 815 Hybrid and Fairway wood series.

The Carlsbad-based company, one of the leading makers of golfing equipment, announced the new clubs late last week.

Callaway said the Big Bertha Alpha 815 Hybrid features “advanced face cup technology for tremendous ball speed, a compact head shape typically preferred by better players, and a CG location that makes it easier to control the ball flight.”

The company said that on the Big Bertha Alpha 815 Fairway wood, adjustable weights move the center of gravity forward or backward. The club combines that adjustment  with a compact head shape, new hyper speed face cup and a premium shaft.

The clubs are available to pre-order.
