The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Monday to its lowest amount since Dec. 27, 2010, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $3.314.

The average price has dropped 32 consecutive days and 58 of the past 59, decreasing 50.8 cents over that span, including nine-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 9.7 cents less than one week ago, 38.6 cents lower than one month ago and 38.7 cents below what it was one year ago.
