
Eight small and “micro” San Diego businesses were recognized by the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce for being drivers of economic growth throughout the region.
“Small businesses make up over 90 percent of our city’s businesses. These awards are an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and excellence of San Diego’s local small businesses and the contribution they make to our regional economy,” said Chamber CEO Jerry Sanders.
This year nearly 70 companies submitted entries in the 20th year of the annual awards. Eight judges reviewed the entries.
The eight winners were announced at a celebration sponsored by ESET at the Omni Hotel downtown. The winners are:

- Team Phun (micro)
