San Diego home and condominiums prices rose slightly in April, and the numbers of properties changing hands were mostly higher, according to figures released Thursday by the San Diego Association of Realtors.
The median price of a condominium or townhome was $334,500 last month, a 10 percent increase from March and a 16 percent increase over April 2013.
“While other parts of the nation are experiencing flat sales of resale homes, San Diego County is enjoying an excellent spring,” said SDAR President Leslie Kilpatrick. “Seeing such a strong showing in the condo market is also a testament to the health of our region’s housing economy.”
Home sales rose 12 percent to 1,987 last month, but were down 5 percent from April 2013, according to the SDAR.
Attached home sales were up 22 percent to 1,012 from March and up 13 percent from April 2013.
