The nominees for the 2024 San Diego Music Awards feature a few very familiar faces, from Jason Mraz to P.O.D. to Slighty Stoopid.

Each have had wide mainstream success, whether based on Billboard chart performance, major tours or by being nominated for – and in some cases, winning – Grammys.

On April 30, the artists, who are natives of the San Diego region or have longtime links here, will face off as nominees for 2024 Song of the Year.

The 33rd annual San Diego Music Awards will once again take place at Humphrey’s by the Bay. The trophies are handed out in several genres, including pop, rock, hiphop, jazz, folk, country and R&B.

The public also can vote online for nominees through March 26.

In addition, the late Country Dick Montana is set to be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
