Previews begin Nov. 10-14. The show opens at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 and continues through Dec. 29.
On Friday, reservations will begin to be accepted for the free Nov. 17 tree-lighting ceremony by the The Grinch’s creative team. The outdoor event will feature performances by some of the cast.
In addition, families with special needs can plan for a 10:30 a.m. Dec. 14 “sensory friendly” performance with fewer lights and loud sounds, along with other special programming.
The Grinch is directed by James Vásquez, with book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin.
Edward Watts returns to the Globe after receiving critical acclaim as The Grinch the last two years. Tommy Martinez appears as Young Max, joined by Broadway veteran John Treacy Egan as Old Max.
Alternating in the role of Cindy-Lou Who are Escondido resident Sophia Adajar, part of the Little Who Ensemble last year, and Leila Manuel of Chula Vista. She returns for her second year in the role.
Tickets start at $29 for adults and $19 for children under 17.
Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, based upon the classic book, returns for its 22nd year. The family favorite features the songs “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” and “Welcome, Christmas,” from the animated version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
