7 p.m. The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (France, 1964)

A young woman separated from her lover by war faces a life-altering decision. Directed by Jacques Demy. Not rated. 91 min.

Oct. 57 p.m. A Fantastic Woman (Chile, 2017)

Marina, a transgender woman who works as a waitress and moonlights as a nightclub singer, is bowled over by the death of her older boyfriend. Directed by Sebastián Leilo. Rated R. 100 min.

Nov. 27 p.m. Nosferatu (Germany, 1922)

Vampire Count Orlok expresses interest in a new residence and real estate agent Hutter’s wife. Directed by F.W. Murnau. Not rated. 81 min.

Nov. 307 p.m. Rome, Open City (Italy, 1945)

During the Nazi occupation of Rome in 1944, the Resistance leader, Giorgio Manfredi, is chased by the Nazis as he seeks refuge and a way to escape. Directed by Roberto Rossellini. Not rated. 103 min.

Each film will screen in the MiraCosta College Little Theatre (Room 3601) at 1 Barnard Drive in Oceanside. The films will be presented in the original languages with English subtitles. Admission is free.
