Oct. 5, 7 p.m. A Fantastic Woman (Chile, 2017)
Marina, a transgender woman who works as a waitress and moonlights as a nightclub singer, is bowled over by the death of her older boyfriend. Directed by Sebastián Leilo. Rated R. 100 min.
Nov. 2, 7 p.m. Nosferatu (Germany, 1922)
Vampire Count Orlok expresses interest in a new residence and real estate agent Hutter’s wife. Directed by F.W. Murnau. Not rated. 81 min.
Nov. 30, 7 p.m. Rome, Open City (Italy, 1945)
During the Nazi occupation of Rome in 1944, the Resistance leader, Giorgio Manfredi, is chased by the Nazis as he seeks refuge and a way to escape. Directed by Roberto Rossellini. Not rated. 103 min.
Each film will screen in the MiraCosta College Little Theatre (Room 3601) at 1 Barnard Drive in Oceanside. The films will be presented in the original languages with English subtitles. Admission is free.
