Sampling the food at Taste of Liberty Station.

Taste of Liberty Station, a night of live entertainment, local art, food and sparkling wine, returns to the historic naval training center next Wednesday evening.

For the second year a row, Liberty Station businesses will open their doors for visitors to sample a variety of cuisines while checking out artisan goods in the storied corridors and plazas, viewing artwork in the galleries, and listening to live music.

Guests can also sample beer and sparkling wine in the “Bubbly Garden” presented by Liberty Public Market in the central promenade.

“We are looking forward to hosting residents and visitors of San Diego to explore all that our beautiful community has to offer. With the variety of businesses participating in the event, there is something for everyone to enjoy on this exciting night,” said Marco Li Mandri, executive director of the Liberty Station Community Association.

A “Liberty Pass” maps out the participating restaurants, businesses and art galleries. An additional “Bubbly Pass” covers beer and wine.

The event takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18. Tickets are $30 prior to the event and $40 at the door. Access to the Bubbly Garden is an additional $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
