The seventh annual Gourmet Food Truck Festival is happening Saturday at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, during the races.
Enjoy the races at the iconic Del Mar Racetrack before heading over to the festival. The event is expected to have 40 food trucks from throughout Southern California. Guests can expect everything from burgers to lobster to Thai and Mexican food.
The food truck festival will take place from noon to 6 p.m. and is free with paid racetrack admission.

Family Fun Festival
The Flower Hill Promenade in Del Mar will host a free family festival on Sunday. The event, which runs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., will feature live music, a kids DJ, free pony rides and crafting. Guests can also expect food and drinks.
Joggin’ for Frogmen
The sixth annual Joggin’ for Frogmen 5K will happen this Saturday. The race, which takes place at NTC Park, is dedicated to US Navy SEALs and supports the SEAL Foundation. Registration costs range from $10 to $45.
Mini Comic Fest
Are you missing the madness and fun of Comic-Con? Rancho Bernardo Library will host a mini Comic-Con on Saturday. Wear your best costume to the event, which will include crafts, obstacle courses, face painting and more. The free event takes place from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Barre & Barrels
The Dailey Method will host a barre workout at the Bernardo Winery on Friday evening. The workout includes combination of ballet barre work, core conditioning, muscle strengthening, yoga and orthopedic exercises. Before or after the workout, guests can also check out Bernardo Winery’s Sunset ArtWalk, which will include live music, food and shopping. The workout class is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
