More than 200 artists will gather at the Waterfront Park this weekend for the San Diego Festival of the Arts.

Named one of the top festivals in the nation, attendees can expect artists from all genres including ceramics, mixed media, photography and textiles.

The event is topped off with live music across three stages and restaurants.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12 online or $14 at the door. Proceeds from the festival will benefit various nonprofit organizations.

Toast of the Coast

The Del Mar Fairgrounds will host the Toast of the Coast Wine Festival this weekend. Wine lovers can expect to sample more than 130 award-winning wines and indulge in pairings from various restaurant vendors. There will also be vendors offering private tastings, chocolates and other goodies. The event runs from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. with tickets starting at $65.

Julian Dance and BBQ

Head to the backcountry for an old-fashioned BBQ. The 11th annual Julian Dance and Backcountry BBQ takes place from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. Hosted at the Menghini Winery, the event features live music, wine and beer and food. The family-friendly event will also have plenty of activities for the kids. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children.

Scripps Ranch Community Fair

The 18th annual Scripps Ranch Community Fair is happening this Sunday. The event features community groups, green-friendly vendors and live music. The free event takes place from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
