A public reception was held Sunday for the fifth annual Art in the Park event, which featured art pieces that showcase the scenic vistas and ecology of Mission Trails Regional Park.
The exhibition of 48 pieces of art will run through Nov. 4. All of the items are for sale.
“We have excellent local artists participating this year,” said Vicky DeLong, art program coordinator for the Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation. “This is a great opportunity for guests to admire and purchase one-of-a-kind pieces that showcase Mission Trails in a beautiful way.”
She said a portion of the proceeds will benefit the foundation.
