The city of Oceanside’s Parks and Recreations Department and the Friends of Oceanside Parks will host three free concerts this summer.
The first two concerts will be held at Rancho Del Oro Park at 4701 Mesa Drive.
The Mar Dels will kick off the summer with a concert on Friday, June 17. The band will perform hits from the 1950s to today’s music. The concert starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m.
The Greg Douglass Band will perform rock and roll favorites on Friday, July 15. Greg Douglass is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (formerly with the Steve Miller Band). He hits the stage at 5 p.m.
SantanaWays, a Santana tribute band, will perform at Melba Bishop Recreation Center on Sunday, Aug. 14. The concert will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 5306 North River Road.
Food trucks will also be on site during all three concerts.
