Talking Thru Her Hat

A new exhibit that explores women’s hats will be unveiled at the Women’s Museum in Liberty Station.

The exhibit, “Talking Thru Her Hat,” will take place from Jan. 8 to Jan. 31. It features a rare view of the hats in the museum collection and also those on loan from collectors and milliners in our community, including those of nationally established milliner, Diana Cavagnaro.

The exhibit also poses the question, “Is a hat a frivolous accessory or a necessity?”

The Women’s Museum is opened from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The address is 2730 Historic Decatur Road, Suite 103.
