In celebration of San Diego Beer Week, the Makers Quarter neighborhood will host 19 breweries and over a thousand people at its fifth annual Craft Beer and Bites event on Thursday.
This year’s event takes place as development of the neighborhood for artists, innovators, makers and entrepreneurs accelerates under a new master plan and significant new construction.
The event takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the SILO event space at 15th and F Streets in downtown’s East Village. There will be live music, art, games and food trucks.
Tickets are $35 in advance nad $40 at the door. Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the local craft beer industry via the San Diego Brewers Guild.
