Highlights for Saturday and Sunday at the San Diego County Fair include a chalk art festival, YouTube concerts, beer festival, mixed martial arts and a father-child look alike contest.

Here is the full schedule of events.

Highlights of the weekend:

Saturday, June 20

San Diego International Beer Festival: Festival continues, so enjoy some of the best beers in the world at the San Diego International Beer Festival. Tickets include fair admission and unlimited 1-ounce samplings of 400-plus beers.

Winning breweries and beers will be featured at the festival, and “Champion Brewery” will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20. VIP Lounge tickets sell for $105 and general admission for $62 for each session on Saturday:

SESSION 3: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
SESSION 4: 4 to 8 p.m.

International Hospitality Day: 10 a.m.–5 pm. at the Flower & Garden Show

Celebrate neighboring countries, their customs and food. Join the fun by wearing your ancestral country’s traditional costumes and find others who speak your native language.

Chalk Art Festival: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Paul Ecke Jr. Garden Show. The festival is a sidewalk chalk art competition featuring local artists that will make the ground come alive.

The YouTube Concert Series: 7 p.m. on the Paddock Stage features DeStorm Power, an American Music Awards, YouTube Music Awards, and Streamys winner. At 7:30 p.m. is Mike Tompkins, a cappella producer/artist who redefines a cappella music by crafting youthful and inspiring pop music /remixes.

Each show includes a Meet & Greet, where people can meet the artist to get autographs and photos. Tickets for the Meet & Greet are $60 (not included in fair admission).

Charles Esten with Lennon & Maisy: members of the “Nashville” cast, 7:30 p.m., Heineken Grandstand Stage.

Stars of the ABC TV show, “Nashville,” will perform together. They are musicians who not only perform as part of the show, but also have performed at the Grand Ole Opry and have released several original songs and cast albums.

Sunday, June 21

SummerFist Mixed Martial Arts: 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the Paddock Green. Mixed martial arts action returns with two bouts, each lasting approximately 20 minutes, being contested during each of the four sessions.

San Diego International Beer Festival:
SESSION 5: 1 to 5 p.m. June 21

Ikebana Day: all day at the Flower & Garden Show. Join Master Teacher of the Sakura Ikebana group, as they provide a demonstration and more than 20 traditional ikebana floral arrangements.

Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival: until 5 p.m. June 21 at the Paul Ecke Jr. Garden Show. This event features chalk artists creating amazing works of art.

Father/Child Look-Alike Contests: 1 p.m. June 21 on the Plaza Stage and 3:30 p.m. on the Fiesta Stage

Best Animal Noise: 3:30p.m. June 30

Family Look-Alike Contest: 3:30p.m. June 24 and 28

Most Patriotic Costume Contest: 1:30 p.m. on the Plaza Stage and 3:30 p.m. on July 4 on the Fiesta Stage.

Bubble Gum Blowing Contest: 3:30 p.m. June 25 and July 3 in the Fiesta Contest Area in Family Funville. Bubble gum is provided.

Ballroom Dance Contest: 2 p.m. on June 28 on the San Diego Showcase Stage

Ballroom dancers of all abilities may compete in any or all of these dances: Waltz, West Coast Swing, Tango, Cha-Cha, Salsa, Jitterbug and Disco. Sign up at the stage by 1:30 p.m. the day of the contest.
