The Del Mar fair celebrates the LGBT community, toasts area wineries, and showcases Asian and Pacific Islander culture this weekend.

Saturday, June 13
Out at the Fair
10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Multiple Locations: Family Funville, Paddock Stage, Rock On Stage
This is the fifth annual Out at the Fair in partnership with San Diego Pride, which celebrates the LGBT community and the work of local LGBT organizations.
Family Funville will host activities for the kids from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., in the Creative Youth. Wine tasting for adults in the San Diego Pavilion will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Paddock Stage arand the Rock on Stage will host live music from several artists throughout the day and into the night. At 9 p.m. begins Rich’s After Dark event for those 21 and up.
The Toast of the Coast
This will feature the finest wines from licensed wineries in California and Baja California. Your ticket will include unlimited 1-oz samples of wines entered in the 2015 Toast of the Coast Wine Competition. When you find one you like, you’ll be able to buy bottles to take home.
General admission includes award-winning wines from California and Baja California, plus special access to the Baja Food and Wine Pavilion featuring free tastes from Baja chefs.
Buy an upgraded ticket to the Winemakers Tasting Area for an exclusive experience in a special lounge area featuring wine and food pairings led by double-gold- and special-award-winning winemakers.
Colbie Caillat 7:30 p.m. Heineken Grandstand Stage
The two-time Grammy winner and singer of “Try” will perform Saturday. Unreserved seats in the 3rd and 5th levels are free with paid admission into the fair.
Otherwise, reserved seats in the 2nd and 4th levels range between $16 and $30 for children and adults (plus Ticketmaster convenience fees), or between $22 and $36 in the Terrace section.
A dinner package is also available for $106 and includes floor-level concert seating, fair admission, preferred parking and a three-course meal before the show at the Turf Club.
Charity Fair Horse Show
11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday; (also 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday) Del Mar Arena
The Charity Fair Horse Show celebrates its 30th year at the San Diego County Fair this features American Saddlebred Horses, Hackney and Roadster Ponies, Morgan Horses, Friesian Horses, and Equitation and Medal Class.
Sunday, June 14
Asian Festival
10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Del Mar Arena
This celebration of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures will feature music, dance and martial arts performances, plus dozens of organizations representing China, Philippines, India, Korea, Japan, Polynesia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The festival will also feature a Best Dance Crew contest with performances from Southern California hip hop groups moving to the music.
Frog-X Parachute Jump
4 p.m.
The Chula Vista-based Frog-X Parachute Team will drop from the sky at around 4 p.m., trailing a giant American flag. This is all to celebrate Flag Day and the adoption of the Stars and Stripes on June 14, 1777.
Los Tigres Del Norte
It is a norteño-band ensemble based out of San Jose, California, with origins in Rosa Morada, a sindicatura in Mocorito, Sinaloa, Mexico. Unreserved seats: Included with fair admission, reserved seats and standing room on floor: $16-$36 . Tickets available

The Robert Cray Band
9 p.m. Paddock Stage
The five-time Grammy-winning blues singer showcases his guitar skills on the Paddock Stage Sunday night at the fair. The Blues Hall of Fame legend will be joined on stage by original band mate and longtime childhood friend Richard Cousins on bass, Les Falconer on drums and Dover Weinberg on piano/keyboards.
The unreserved standing area at this concert costs between $18 and $24 for children, adults and seniors, including fair admission, or $10 for all ages without fair admission. Reserved tickets range from $46 to $52, including fair admission, or $38 for all ages without fair admission.
