Feeling luck? Hoping to snag a Fun Zone stuffed animal? Games at the San Diego County Fair are half-price noon to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the month.
The game discount is offered June 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25.
Wednesday also is the last $4 day at the fair. Tickets may be purchased at Albertsons or Vons with a minimum $10 purchase.

By planning ahead, you can get in on the fair’s savings food, games and rides.
Savings on food
Bring your lunch: Yes, it’s allowed with these restrictions: No alcohol, glass containers or metal knives of any kind. Beverages must be in factory-sealed containers (you may bring an empty container to fill once you have passed the security check).
Look for the Kids’ Meal Deal signs throughout the Fair at participating food booths. The meal includes an entrée, side dish and drink, plus a child’s admission to several local attractions, including the new Children’s Museum, USS Midway, Living Coast Discovery Center, Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, Birch Aquarium, San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum, San Diego Model Railroad Museum, Whaley House Museum, Warner Carrillo Ranch House, Marston House Museum, The San Diego Museum of Art, and Museum of Photographic Arts.
Fridays are PennySaver Value Days. The PennySaver coupon book, free with your fair admission contains discounts, two-for-one values, and other savings from more than 60 fair vendors.
Taste of the Fair: On the Tuesdays the fair is open (June 23 and 30), from opening until 5 p.m., fairgoers can buy $2 taste-sized portions of food such as corn dogs, fudge, fish tacos and cinnamon rolls.
Savings on rides
Pepsi Pay-One-Price Ride Days: You can enjoy the rides for one price on designated days and hours. Wristbands are valid from noon to 8 p.m. on most of the qualifying days.
Wristbands may be purchased for $35 online or at the fair until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays (June 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25). However, wristband vouchers must be bought online for June 12, 13 and 14.
Fairgoers can save an additional $5 on the wristband purchase with a minimum $10 purchase of qualifying Pepsi products at Albertsons or Vons through June 25.
Buy tickets in bulk: Single tickets are 75 cents, 28 tickets cost $20 and 72 tickets cost $50. The fair offers a variety of ride and game ticket packs.
Savings on games
Fairgoers can buy $20 worth of Midway game tickets for $12, on sale online only. Value of each ticket is $1; most games require multiple tickets.
