Race participants and supporters can avoid traffic and parking hassles during Race weekend by riding the COASTER! A special, early morning COASTER train will travel southbound on Sunday, May 31, providing race participants and supporters an alternative to driving by car.
Discounted COASTER round-trip tickets for May 30th and 31st are available online for just $8. Discounted COASTER tickets must be purchased via the website or the NCTD mobile app and will not be available at the station ticket vending machines.
COASTER train schedule for race day morning on Sunday, May 31:
4:10 a.m. – Oceanside Transit Center
4:14 a.m. – Carlsbad Village
4:20 a.m. – Carlsbad Poinsettia
4:26 a.m. – Encinitas
4:32 a.m. – Solana Beach
4:41 a.m. – Sorrento Valley
5:01 a.m. – ARRIVE at Old Town Transit Center
Complimentary shuttles will be staged at the Old Town Transit Center on Sunday, May 31, for COASTER riders to be taken to the start line.
After the race, there are multiple northbound train options available with a valid COASTER ticket including Amtrak and COASTER trains departing Santa Fe Depot at 9:48 a.m., 10:42 a.m., 11:40 a.m., 12:27 p.m., and 3:18 p.m.
