Four San Diego restaurants, all of which opened last year, made OpenTable‘s annual list of the top 100 “hot spot” eateries in the United States.

The list is based on some 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 20,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

California boasts the greatest number of hot spots with 22, followed by Florida and New York with 13 each. The four hot spots in San Diego are:
