A San Diego man pleaded no contest Tuesday to mayhem for biting off a fellow concertgoer’s fingertip during a confrontation last summer at a Beyoncé-Jay Z show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
Roberto Alcaraz Garnica, 25, was immediately sentenced by a Pasadena judge to 30 days of community service, 52 weeks of anger management, 40 days already served in county jail and three years probation.
Garnica bit off the tip of the man’s left index finger during the Aug. 2 confrontation, according to Deputy District Attorney Louis Parise.
