Get ready to indulge in exotic flavors and delight the palate during the 15th Annual Taste of Hillcrest. On Saturday, April 18 from 12 to 4 p.m., San Diego’s favorite neighborhood will bring together the best chefs and cuisines to offer tasters and food connoisseurs alike the opportunity to embark on a self-guided culinary tour.
From cafes to bistros to five-star dining, Taste of Hillcrest will feature over 40 restaurants and span more than 12 blocks. Participants can treat their taste-buds from cuisines all over the world, including Italy, Mexico, the Middle East, Asia and all-American favorites. Peruse the streets and take in the sights and sounds of Hillcrest, while selecting from fresh seafood, sushi, spicy Thai, delicious pastas and feel-good classics during this season’s tastiest event.
“We are very excited about this year’s Taste of Hillcrest,” said Hillcrest Business Association Executive Director Benjamin Nicholls. “It’s the perfect place to experience a culinary adventure and enjoy the afternoon while spending time in San Diego’s most fabulous neighborhood.”
In the midst of the savory sampling, be sure to save room for beverages and refined desserts with thirst-quenching options from microbreweries and sweets from a wide range of Hillcrest eateries.
Bring your best appetite in what promises to be once-again a sell-out event. Tickets for this fabulous food fest are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the event. All proceeds will benefit the Hillcrest Business Association.
