More than 180 restaurants are participating in the annual San Diego Restaurant Week, which begins Sunday and is often extended beyond the initial week.

Restaurants across San Diego County will offer three-course dinner menus for $25, $35 or $45 per person and/or two-course lunch menus for $10, $15 or $20 per person.

No passes or tickets are required. Foodies can simply select a participating restaurant and make reservations or walk in.

The event is scheduled from Sunday, Sept. 21, through Friday, Sept. 26, but in past years has been extended for a second week, though not all restaurants participate.

The event, now in its tenth year, is organized by the San Diego County Chapter of the California Restaurant Association.
