The superhero adventure “Guardians of the Galaxy” continued to dominate North American theaters over the long weekend, according to final figures released Tuesday.

The film collected $22.9 million between Friday and Monday to push its five-week total to $281.2 million, according to Rentrak.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” held onto second place with $15.6 million over the Labor Day weekend, followed by the drama “If I Stay,” which earned $11.8 million.

The comedy “Let’s Be Cops” also continued to be a strong draw, collecting $10.4 million, followed by the debut of “As Above, So Below,” which opened with $10.3 million. Rounding out the 10 most popular films this weekend, in the United States and Canada, were “The November Man” ($10.1 million); “When The Game Stands Tall” ($8.2 million); “The Giver” ($6.9 million); “The Hundred Foot Journey” ($6.5 million); and “The Expendables 3” ($4.5 million)
