Authorities Wednesday identified a 28-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a solo crash in the Clairemont Mesa area.
San Diego resident James Robert Haiman was riding a 2015 Suzuki motorcycle westbound on Balboa Avenue at high speed around 10:50 p.m. Monday when he struck a curb and a guardrail east of Clairemont Drive, then slid to a stop in the left lane of Balboa Avenue, according to information from San Diego police and the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Paramedics responded and pronounced Haiman dead at the scene, the Medical Examiner’s Office reported.
