POINT LOMA – Point Loma High athletes won one league title during the fall sports season while dozens were recognized for individual league accomplishments, with some earning elite All-CIF honors. 

In addition, veteran Pointer coach Keith DeLong was named CIF Coach of the Year in Girls Cross Country. DeLong is the head coach of both boys and girls cross country and track and field. He also teaches principles of biomedical science.

Football

All-Eastern League first team offense: Henry Heuser (12th grade), Ryder Watson (11), Leo Sahd (12). Second team: Brycen Morales (12), Noah Bostwick (11), Ryan Patterson (12). Athlete of the Year: Romeo Carter (12).

First team defense: Matteo Correia (12), Braeden Bartocci (12), Owen Ice (12). Second team: Ace Selchow (12), Ryan Cleator (11), Kobe Kelly (12).

League champion: Point Loma.

All-CIF first team offense: Carter. First team defense: Correia. Second team: Bartocci, Ice.

Girls volleyball

All-Eastern League first team: Caroline Tadder (12), Caroline Petrie (9). Second team: Reece Thomas (9), Aurora Fernandez 11).

Libero of the Year: Olivia Karvelis, Point Loma.

League champion: Patrick Henry.

Boys cross country

All-Western League first team: Ethan Devine (12). Second team: Jack Loomis (12), Jonah Turner (11).

League champion: Cathedral Catholic.

Girls cross country

All-Western League first team: Isabella Ramos (12), Kelly McIntire (11), Nicole Witt (12), Sarah Geiszler (12). Second team: Paige Eudy (11), Corinne Santoro (11).

All-CIF first team: Ramos. Second team: McIntire, Witt, Geiszler.

Runner of the Year: Ramos.

League champion: Cathedral Catholic.

CIF Coach of the Year: Keith DeLong, Point Loma.

Boys water polo

All Western League second team: Etienne Caputo (12), AJ Bockstahler (11).

Girls field hockey

All-Eastern League first team: Molly Curran (11). Second team: Avery MacPherson (12), Carter Wyatt (12), Lola Mezzadri (11).

Girls flag football
