The San Diego Force will open the Southern California Collegiate Baseball League championship series Friday against the Palm Springs Power at Grossmont College
The Power will be seeking its sixth consecutive title.
Game Two of the best-of-three series will be played Saturday at Palm Springs Stadium at 7:05 p.m.
Game Three, if necessary, would be played Sunday at Palm Springs Stadium at 7:05 p.m.
The Power and the Force split four games this season.
The Force made the championship series by sweeping the So Cal Bombers in two games, winning 6-3 and 7-2, respectively.
The Power advanced to the championship series by defeating the Arroyo Seco Sentinels two games to one in a best-of-three semifinal series, winning Game 3, 4-2, Wednesday at Palm Springs Stadium.
