Where to find new restaurants

It was a rough weekend for the Padres, but that doesn’t dampen the contagious fan energy when our team is doing well. I, unfortunately, haven’t made it to a game this season, but I keep thinking about the area in Petco Park that feels like the beach. There’s nothing like sipping a Michelada with some Cardiff Crack nachos, watching Tatis Jr. light up the field with your friends and family. It’s a uniquely San Diego experience you can’t find anywhere else. 

Of course, not every game day means a trip downtown. Here in PB and Mission Beach, there are so many great spots to catch the Padres on TV — from packed beach bars to neighborhood hangouts. Yelp will tell you Hideaway is the No. 1 sports bar in our area, but I’m curious about your rankings. Where is your favorite place to cheer on the Friars close to home?
