Hello, La Mesa!

Julie Main
Julie Main, Times of San Diego operations and community relations manager

I love exploring new restaurants so I was eager to hear what Robin Dohrn-Simpson had to say about her experience at Tour de Tapas, which opened in December and features flavors from Spain, France and Italy.

The eatery offers a mini-European culinary tour of small plates and sips in the heart of La Mesa.

It features cold and hot plates on the menu as well as soups, entrees and desserts with a well-curated wine list that includes unique wines from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and California.

An heirloom caprese salad with a walnut pesto sauce, Spanish paella and crêpes suzette all sounded delicious.
