It’s that time where we look back before we continue forward into a new year. When I know things are about to change, even if it’s just a number on the calendar, reflection feels second nature.
Looking back on this past year in Uptown, we saw precursors to change and the community coming together. Not to mention, a whole lot of restaurant news — both on the cuisine and commotion ignited by who stopped in.
Some of the biggest news from last year hasn’t happened, but we’re closer to it than ever. There are six days left until free parking at Balboa Park is officially a thing of the past.
So this is your reminder to soak it up, in between the rain, these next few days. I know I will.
