The district and the San Diego Education Association announced Thursday they reached a deal that could lead to a new contract, settling special education and wage issues that led to the planned one-day strike.
In significantly stranger news, our JW August reported this week on a La Jolla lawyer who was disbarred after allegedly sending over 3,000 “depraved, profanity-laced” threatening emails and text messages to his boss and his boss’ family.
- His boss happened to be an internet-famous legal influencer who uses the handle “Law by Mike” for short-form, jargon-free videos explaining legal issues. He has more than 28 million followers combined between YouTube and TikTok.
