Hello, Point Loma and Ocean Beach!
I’m Tessa Balc, Times of San Diego’s new audience engagement producer. Part of my position is managing all of our newsletters, and I’ll be taking over this one for the time being. I myself, was an OBecian for two years in college when I went to the Naz.
Enough about me, let’s talk about this past weekend. Or at least what you remember of it.
One of the best (and drunkest) weekends of the year was upon us. Enter Oktoberfest. It’s so much fun and induces such a large hangover that we can only do it once a year — until the Holiday Parade comes around, oh, and don’t forget about the OB Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off. It’s debatable which one causes the most inebriation. The office is divided on this matter.
Editor Thomas Melville voted Oktoberfest; I’m backing the Holiday Parade. Let’s hope no one is voting for the Kite Festival.
