Hello, La Mesa!
The first neighborhood newsletter we sent out when the La Mesa Courier joined forces with Times of San Diego had an amazing quote from former news anchor Kathleen Bade. “The impact that local news has is far more than informational. It turns residents into neighbors and neighbors into communities, and communities make things happen,” she wrote.
That is so true, and it has me wondering, who in your neighborhood helps grow that sense of community or makes this happen? Who is a great neighbor?
Whether it’s someone who regularly rolls in your trashcan or who plans community events or something else, I’d love to hear from you and share some of your neighbor shoutouts in upcoming newsletters.
Fill out this short survey to recognize people who are amazing neighbors and community members.
