San Diego’s One America News, a right-wing cable network that reported the 2020 election was stolen, will now be providing content for Voice of America. It’s a significant change in content for the country’s historic international broadcast service.
In another echo of past controversy, UCSD has released new research on the origin and spread of COVID-19, identifying wildlife as the source. Meanwhile, the ringleader in a series of local thefts has been sentenced to six years in prison, and a combination of pilot error and unsafe conditions were identified as the causes of a horrific helicopter crash in Pine Valley that killed five Marines.
If all of that makes you want to go out and touch nature, great news: San Diego County’s state parks have been ranked among the best of the state. But of course, we already knew that.
