Hello, Pacific and Mission Beach!

Mission Bayfest is back this weekend!

The music festival at Mariner’s Point Park is back with three days of reggae and rock, with both touring acts and local favorites dispersed throughout the lineup.

Each day has a particular vibe, with lineups that, for the most part, live within a genre. Mikey Beltran, the managing partner of the festival, said Friday will have a more American Reggae sound. Rebelution, Steel Pulse, The Movement, Surfer Girl and Doah’s Daydream are part of that day.

Saturday, Beltran described as “Pacific Island Reggae vibes,” with acts like Kolohe Kai, who is headlining, plus Common Kings and SOJA on the lineup.

To wrap it all up, Sunday is full of punk, pop-punk and rock with bands like The Offspring, The Interrupters and Goldfinger.

This year, the festival is reviving the Under the Bridge Stage, which, as the name suggests, is under West Mission Bay Drive bridge. Each day will feature one show at the stage. Friday will showcase The Gaslamp Killer, Saturday is R&B 4 Da Wahine and Sunday will feature the Emo Night Tour.

There are still tickets left, with individual days going for $140 in general admission and $500 for VIP. All three days will cost you $280 for general admission and $999 for VIP.
