Hello, Pacific and Mission Beach!
Thank you for your support in response to last week’s newsletter. I’m so grateful for the way our tight-knit community shows up for each other in times of need. Keeping with that spirit, I’ve rounded up some of the grocery stores offering deals ahead of this Thanksgiving:
- Vons is offering fully cooked holiday meals for pre-order, including classic turkey, spiral ham and prime rib.
- Ralphs is partnered with Home Chef for Holiday Meal Dinner Bundles. Ralphs’ website also has a fun calculator to determine how much turkey you’ll need for your number of guests, and how long it’ll take to thaw and prep!
- Gelson’s offers Thanksgiving pre-orders, including everything from full meals to a la carte mains, sides, and desserts. The last day to order is Nov. 25.
- If you’re willing to go a little out of the way to cut costs, Aldi is offering a Feast for 10 deal. For about $40, you get enough food to feed 10 people, including a whole turkey. Our nearest Aldi is at 5270 Balboa Ave.
