Hello, Navajo and College Area!
We’re on our last community newsletter of the year. Can you believe it? In the spirit of the New Year, we’re doing a bit of reflecting around here on what defined our 2025.
While we saw some events that shaped our community this year, like the death of 11-year-old Andrew Olsen prompting a stop sign at an intersection where one was already recommended. We also saw news that will likely impact the years to come, like the city’s updated community plan for College Area.
A lot happened at Times of San Diego this year. For one, this paper, the Mission Times Courier, along with the six other community papers, joined Times of San Diego in our partnership with NEWSWELL and became one newsroom. That allowed for this newsletter to be born and for a redesign of the community papers you know and love.
