I love exploring restaurants in the area so I was eager to hear what Robin Dohrn-Simpson had to say about her experience at KnB Bistro on Del Cerro Boulevard.
The walls of the half-restaurant, half-bottle shop are floor-to-ceiling with every alcohol imaginable: Wine, bourbon, craft beer and more.
The owners purchased KnB in 2008, but it’s morphed from a wine bar with tapas into a full commercial kitchen with an extensive selection of beverages hand selected by a team of managers and wine and beer sommeliers.
The food includes an assortment of salads, soups, sandwiches and flatbreads, along with small treats, such as KnB street tacos or elote bites, which are masa-battered corn bites filled with lime, cilantro, chili and cheese served with spicy ranch dressing.
KnB – which stands for Keg and Barrel – offers trivia and other events.
