A fault line halted plans for a 40-story tower. Years later, the site remains a ‘hole in the ground’
There were big plans for a plot of land downtown, near San Diego City College, but for more than decade the developers have been at a standstill.
Since they discovered the existence of a fault line cutting through where they proposed to construct a large apartment complex, they haven’t quite figured out what to do.
