Casa Cornelia Law Center is hosting a coat and blanket drive through Feb. 28 to support clients and community partners serving people facing winter without basic necessities.

The San Diego-based nonprofit public interest law firm is collecting donations for all ages to meet urgent needs of individuals and families rebuilding their lives after violence, persecution or displacement.

Initial drop-off sites include:

  • L Street Storage & Postal Annex, 707 L St., Chula Vista
  • Arya Cleaners, 1479 East H St., Chula Vista
  • Arya Cleaners, 2260 Otay Lakes Rd., Chula Vista

Want to get involved? Community members, businesses and organizations are invited to host a drive, serve as an official drop-off location or donate new items.

Casa Cornelia Law Center provides pro bono legal services to survivors of human and civil rights violations, including asylum seekers and unaccompanied children.

Those interested in participating in the drive can contact the organization at www.casacornelia.org.
