There’s still time to get rich as no ticket matched all six numbers in the latest Mega Millions drawing, sending the estimated jackpot climbing to $180 million for Tuesday’s draw.
Only one ticket sold in Pennsylvania came close, matching five numbers but missing the Mega number. Thanks to a 4x multiplier, that ticket is worth $4 million, according to the Mega Millions Consortium, which runs the multi-state game.
Friday’s winning numbers were 6, 13, 34, 43, and 52, with the Mega Ball number 4. The estimated jackpot heading into the drawing was $157 million.
The drawing marked the ninth since the last time a ticket hit all six numbers.
The odds of matching all five numbers plus the Mega Ball stand at 1 in 290,472,336, the consortium said. The overall chance of winning any prize is 1 in 23.
But why not take a chance and head to your favorite place to buy lotto tickets before tonight?
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, along with the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
