The Port of San Diego announced Thursday that they will begin scheduled maintenance this month on a South Bay pier.
Staff will begin a scheduled project on Nov. 18, to replace two pilings and fix other issues with the Imperial Beach Pier.
The pier will be closed Nov. 20-22, then again on Nov. 25-27. The full pier will be open to the public on Nov. 28, just in time for Thanksgiving.
Details and updates on this project can be found at portofsandiego.org/IBPierProject.
The port serves local residents as a specially created district, balancing multiple uses on 34 miles along San Diego Bay while spanning five cities.
