A Daily Derby lottery ticket purchased at a San Ysidro liquor store matched the three winning horses and is worth more than $500,000 Friday.
The lucky ticket holder picked “California Classic” for first place, “Lucky Star” for second and “Hot Shot” for third. The race time was 1:40.11.
California Lottery officials said the winner bought the ticket, worth $512,422, at San Ysidro Liquor at 3269 Beyer Blvd.
The winner has six months from the date of the draw to come forward and claim his or her prize. Lottery officials said he or she should take the signed ticket to any lottery district office.
