Repairs were expected to be finished Monday evening on a broken gas line located under a private residence in the South Park neighborhood of San Diego, authorities said.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department arrived in the 1700 block of Fern Street around 9:30 a.m. Monday in response to a half-inch broken line.
Authorities said the gas line might have been hit during work on a project, but no evacuation was necessary. No injuries were reported.
