
An alleged wrong-way driver was killed Sunday morning after her Honda Civic apparently flew off the freeway and plummeted to the ground below in Spring Valley, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 2 a.m. on northbound State Route 125 at Jamacha Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
OnScene.TV reported the CHP received calls of the driver going the wrong way in the dirt center divider on the SR-125 shortly before the crash.
The motorist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The roadway was cleared about 4 a.m.
