A pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck Saturday evening on state Route 94 in Golden Hill.
The crash was reported at 9:22 p.m. on the eastbound Freeway west of 28th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the white Chevrolet Silverado pulled over to the right-hand shoulder, the CHP said.
No information about the identity of the victim was immediately released.
Officers stopped traffic on all lanes of the freeway for over an hour while the collision was investigated.
