A young man was found fatally injured under suspicious circumstances early Friday on Bay Terraces-area roadside.
Patrol officers and medics responding to a report of a possible assault discovered 19-year-old Isaiah Garcia mortally wounded on a sidewalk in the 2300 block of Spring Oak Way shortly after 12:30 a.m., according to San Diego police.
Garcia, who had suffered trauma to his upper body, was pronounced dead at the scene, Lt. Anthony Dupree said.
Homicide detectives were called in to investigate the fatality.
