A suspect shot a woman twice in the leg in Paradise Hills as she was returning home early Saturday morning.
The suspect was apparently waiting for her in a car parked across the street, according to police.
This shooting in the 2100 block of Flintridge Drive happened at about 2:20 a.m. Saturday, said San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims.
Then, paramedics took the 27-year-old victim to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 36-year-old man who was in the car with her as she returned home was not injured, Heims said.
A dark-colored sedan parked across the street from the victim’s house made a U-turn as she was arriving home, then a passenger in the sedan opened fire on the couple, Heims said. The dark sedan was last seen heading southbound on Flintridge Drive toward Potomac Street, Heims said.
Currently, there is no description of the suspects and the couple was unable to give one to police.
