Officials Tuesday released the identity of the 3-year-old girl killed in El Cajon in a weekend crash that left her mother facing drugged driving, vehicular manslaughter and several other felony charges.

Carlee Ramirez died at Rady Children’s Hospital following the crash off eastbound Broadway near North First Street around 9:45 p.m. Saturday according to the county Medical Examiner’s Office and El Cajon police.

El Cajon Police Lt. Randy Soulard said her 31-year-old mother, Brandy Teague, may have fallen asleep moments before her small 2010 Hyundai Accent struck a power pole. Her two other children were seriously injured in the crash.

Teague was treated at a hospital before being arrested on suspicion of several charges including gross vehicular manslaughter, child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance and driving while under the influence of drugs, according to police and jail records. She was also cited for driving on a suspended license.
